A lot has happened...

It has been a while since our last post. So much has happened. Sadly, I lost my dear Aunt Joanie on Friday in a tragic accident. Our family has come together like we always do. We've leaned on each other, cried with each other and marveled at the generosity of those around us. Our family is so sad but, even through the sadness, we've smiled a lot in the past six days. To know our family, is to know that we are the happiest when we are together. We have countless memories that we hold so dear, of those that are still here and of those who have now gone.

I'll always look at these pictures (taken the weekend before last) and remember seeing Aunt Joanie. The day before they were they were taken, she stopped in at Mama's house and told us that she had a new calf. She wanted to see if Cora wanted to go and see it. Well, Cora was asleep so we passed. The next morning (Labor Day) the cows were right up against the fence. We quickly put our shoes on with our pajamas, grabbed some bread to feed the bull and walked out to the pasture. By the time we got there, they were walking away. We figured that Aunt Joanie was at the other end of the pasture ready to feed up. (They knew she had better stuff for them to eat than loaf bread.) Cora did end up seeing the bull and a mama and calf for a minute. We then decided to stay outside and play with Matt the Cat for a little while.
*Please try to ignore the fact that Cora's pajamas appear to be 5 sizes too small. The pants fit great, the top is another story. She had just had a really big breakfast. *wink. wink.*

This is Cora with Matt. She decided to feed the bread to the cat. He was not interested.

Fun at School

I attend Master's Garden Preschool. Daddy takes me in the morning and Mama gets me in the afternoon. I really love school! I have lots of friends. My best friend is Jarrett. My other friends are Noe-Lani, Grant and Ava. We play outside a lot and get really dirty. Mama does not understand how that happens because we have rubber mulch. But we find a way.

These are pictures of me at school. In one picture, I am on the steps with Grant. In the other picture I am looking for lizards. Mama and I look for lizards every day. They used to be outside a lot but we can't find them much now.
